Give your favorite song birds a cozy place to build their nest. Our birdhouse is hand-made using Michigan white cedar. The outside is sealed/stained cedar tone, while the inside is in its natural cedar state. The entrance measures 1 1/4" which prevents large predators from entering. •Hang house approx. 5 - 15 feet above the ground.

•Place house where it will receive some shade during the day.

•Don't put houses near bird feeders.

•One house in a tree is enough unless the tree is extremely large. Songbirds do like their privacy!

•Inspect houses regularly and consider adding predator guards if necessary.

•Clean out houses after each brood has fleged to encourage another pair to use the house. Most nesters will not use old, left-behind nesting material.

•After the final fall cleaning, houses may be stored inside or simply left hanging all winter. Winter houses should be cleaned early in spring.
